Hello and Welcome,

My name is Jeanine Scott and I am a woman of a certain age, married with 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren.  My history with seasonal depression began before it even had a name; specifically in the mid 1980's.  I dealt with it by immersing myself into decorating my home, trying desperately to create a warm, inviting and cozy home, especially during the winter months.  My lightbulb moment came when we added a fourth bedroom to our home with windows that drenched our bedroom with the most healing and life changing sunlight.  That was when I connected the dots and began understanding the importance of lighting in a bedroom, especially during the winter months.  So, as you might imagine, helping women create a warm, safe and restful master bedroom is deeply personal to me.  It is shaped not only by my experience with seasonal depression but, also by my passion for women to have a beautiful master bedroom.  In addition, my faith, being my quiet foundation, and the belief that we are meant to find rest, peace and renewal is how I approach this work.  These things really matter.

And, while my faith is an integral part of who I am, this work is designed to support any woman who is looking for a bedroom that feels calmer, more restful, and more supportive.

My Mission: To help women experiencing seasonal depression create bedrooms that support rest, emotional renewal and gentle restoration.

 

My Vision:  To redefine the bedroom as a place of healing and support, especially during the darker seasons of life.
